Bolivar Peninsula After Hurricane Ike: Tribute

On September 13, Hurricane Ike made ladfall in Bolivar Peninsula and Galveston. During the previous night, the surge of the ocean crept up on the remaining residents who awoke to find there was no way out. My son, Thomas, and I went on october 12 to document the destruction of Bolivar Peninsula, including Rollover Pass, Gilchrist, and Crystal Beach.
