Mandy Moore would make American Idol judge Simon Cowell proud. She stars in American Dreamz, a spoof on TV's popular singing competition as Sally Kendoo an Idol wannabe who would do whatever it takes to become America's next pop princess. Moore was an inspired choice for the role as she began her career as a chart-topping singer, except she says her character's songs in the film were a bit cheesier than the ones she recorded.
